Why families want an XL
Most of the families who call us today want an XL American Bully, and I understand why. A well-bred XL is a big, muscular, heavy-boned dog with a calm, people-loving temperament. We've raised Pit Bulls and American Bullies for over thirty years, and XLs are what we're known for now. But size alone doesn't make a good Bully. Plenty of XL puppies are bred for size and nothing else. Ours are bred for temperament and structure first, then size.

XL, XXL and XL Pit Bull
"XL Pit Bull" and "XXL Pit Bull" are what many people call a large American Bully. XXL isn't an official class with any registry; it's a sales word for a very large XL. If someone promises a "guaranteed XXL", ask to meet the parents. The parents are the best guide to how big your puppy will be.
