Health first
Great health and temperament are the most important things in any dog. American Bullies and XLs are big, heavy dogs, so we breed for sound structure, not just size. Every puppy sees our vet before it goes home, and every family gets a written guarantee. If something isn't right, I want to hear from you.
Health questions
Our one-year limited health guarantee covers qualifying life-threatening congenital conditions. If a qualifying genetic defect is found in the first year, the puppy is returned and replaced with one of equal value. There are no refunds, shipping for the replacement is at the buyer's cost, and we may ask for a second opinion from a veterinarian.
Skin and coat problems that are common in blue-coated dogs, hip and elbow dysplasia, and illness caused by missed follow-up shots or deworming. XL dogs are big, and hips depend on feeding and environment as well as genetics, so we highly recommend pet insurance.
We recommend waiting until your dog is at least 12 months old. A big breed needs that time to grow, and spaying or neutering earlier voids the one-year health guarantee.
Take your puppy to your own vet within two weeks. Keep up the follow-up shots and deworming your vet recommends, feed a good quality food, and call us anytime you have a question.
